2022: Prof. Dr. Mozibur Rahman Biswas Scholarship for Girls' Education

(September 1, 2022): Five meritorous female students with financial need at Satashia Shariful Moriom High School received the inaugural Prof. Dr. Mozibur Rahman Biswas Scholarship for Girls' Education in 2022.. 

Shantosh Kumar Biswas, Head teacher of Satashia Shariful Moriom High School, selected five meritorious female students with financial need for this inaugural award that is geared towards "supporting education-related costs."

This annual scholarship of Tk. 2000.00 will be handed over to the recipients in August, 2022.

Satashia Shariful Moriom High School is located in Dr. Biswas's village, very close to his grave. Late Dr. Biswas always had a dream to create a welfare trust after his late mother, Jobeda Karim, to help poor women of the village.
